President

Town of Wawarsing Board Member and Business Development expert. Co-owner of Frost Enterprises – a property management and renovation business with a passion for creating workforce housing – Johnny became a Wawarsing resident in 2021. As President, he looks forward to executing solutions that improve the lives of Ellenville and Wawarsing communities.

Barbara Hoff

Vice President

Longstanding business owner of Top Shelf, co-founder of Ellenville StrEATS, unofficial Canal St. ambassador, and founding member of the Hunt Memorial Preservation Committee.

Denise Frayman

Treasurer

A nine-year resident of Ellenville. Commercial insurance broker by day. She and her husband, Sandy, have invested in real estate locally and believe strongly in the power of working together for sensible change and initiatives that benefit all members of the community.

Scott Frost

Secretary

Creative entrepreneur and owner of Scott Frost. Scott was a 2022 market manager of Market on Market, is a proud board member of Shadowland Stages and looks forward to continuing to find new ways to connect the community and raise funds for a growing number of local COFFE initiatives!

Poppy Reese- Cannon

Ellenville Artists Collective, Co-Chair

Ellenville Regional Hospital Executive Director, textile artist, and Wawarsing resident. She worked for NBC Universal for 10 years before moving to the Hudson Valley and as a freelance costume designer/stylist before that. Her focus is on community connection and improvement with a vision toward economic development.

General Counsel

Longstanding resident, business owner and attorney in Ellenville. Former Chairperson of the Ulster County Economic Development Alliance and the Ellenville Million Fund.

Kelly M O’Brien

Ellenville Artists Collective, Co-Chair

Professional artist with a studio and gallery at 6 Market Street, Kelly is committed to the power of art to activate and transform communities. Her pop-up gallery, Material Projects Space, platforms regional artists through seasonal events such as Upstate Art Weekend.
