Ellenville Artists Collective @ellenvilleartists fosters collaboration among artists, residents, studios, businesses, and community spaces to strengthen Ellenville’s arts identity.

We are an artist-led initiative interested in cultivating a vibrant and inclusive creative ecosystem in and around Ellenville, NY. Our mission is to bring visibility, opportunity, and energy to the artists who live and work in this region.

We’re currently working on plans to activate Ellenville during the 2026 season of Upstate Open Studios (May 16-17) and Upstate Art Weekend (June 25-29). We are actively seeking interested artists, venues, and sponsors for participation.

We welcome artists, designers, performers, and makers of all kinds.

As the collective grows, so will its activities. We aspire to be a supportive framework for our creative community.

Plans for 2026 and beyond include:

Artist talks & studio visits
Crit groups
Creative and skill-sharing workshops
Pop-up exhibits and performances
Promotion and support for Artist Collective members

2026 Upstate Art Weekend and Open Studios

In May and June 2026 — during Upstate Open Studios (May 16-17) and Art Weekend (UAW, June 25–29) — we plan to activate downtown Ellenville with exhibitions, open studios, pop-ups, public art, performances, guided walks, and community-centered programming.

A shared map will showcase artists, venues, studios, and regional UAW sites — creating an interconnected, art-filled Village experience. Whether you are an ‘official’ UAW venue or not, you can join our Village map to take advantage of the high footfall that comes to Ellenville during both events.
